Demonstration of Learning Week June 8 – 12th see schedule: Written final assessments begin at 9:15am.  Students should be in their designated location by 9:05am.   IF students are not writing a final assessment, they can only be in the cafeteria area while waiting for an interview etc. all other areas are out of bounds.  Students may wish to arrange for an earlier pick up once their assessment is completed so they can return home to study.  Buses run at their regularly scheduled times. Cafeteria services will not be available.   A canteen will be set up with hamburgers and hotdogs and other snacks for purchase. A reminder that Grad rehearsals happen on Monday, June 8th , Wednesday, June 10th and Friday, June 12th in the BMHS theatre from 11:45 am -12:45pm.  Students will receive their tickets for graduation and their gown, v-stole and cap at the last rehearsal.  On Friday, June 12th students will need to know how many tickets […]
Good Evening Highlander Families! Reminder that classes will start at 9:00am tomorrow:  We look forward to celebrating the 2025-2026 school year during our Awards Assembly that will take place during an extended Homeroom slot after period 1. BMHS’ Night of the Arts 2026: Our annual Night of the Arts will take place tomorrow, Wednesday June 3rd. Come celebrate the hard work our Highlanders have put into our Creative, Musical and Dramatic Arts programs this year. Entrance is by donation to our Theatre Improvement Project and there will be a silent art auction, a summer raffle and canteen to enjoy. Doors open at 6:30pm and the event will run from 7:00-9:00pm.
Next week is the last week of classes.  Students need to be in attendance to finish up final assignments, projects and reviewing for final assessments. Dragon Boat races are taking place at Jones Lake this afternoon/evening for high school. Thank you to all graduates who participated and raised funds!  Cheer on the green and white. The 2026 Reach for the Top National Finals is being held this weekend at Bernice MacNaughton and Wabanaki Schools. Teams from across the country will be competing for trivia supremacy. If you wish to come watch the Junior and Senior Championships on Sunday, May 31st, come to BMHS by 10:45 AM for the Juniors and 12:45 PM for the Senior National Finals.
