Presented by the Students Commission of Canada, this event provides Grade 9 students with the opportunity to explore various career paths and gain insights into the working world. Parents for Bilingual Education New Brunswick (PBENB), in collaboration with the NB Centre of Excellence for Language Learning, is pleased to launch the 2025–2026 Free Tutoring Program in partnership with Apprendre Franco-Fun. This program offers five free online tutoring sessions for students in Grades 1–12 in New Brunswick’s Anglophone school system, whether they are in French Immersion, PIF, or the English Pathway. Program Highlights: ✔️No cost to families ✔️First come, first served ✔️Extra French support for students who need it Registered families will receive an email to schedule an initial assessment, followed by five free 25-minute sessions. There will be no school for students on Monday, November 10 (School Planning- Professional Learning) and November 11(Remembrance Day). Student government will host a movie night on Thursday, October 30th at 7pm in the theatre. Admission is by donation for Harvest House. Canteen will be available on site. Costume contest on Friday, October 31 – no masks are allowed. Students can Trunk or Treat in the back parking lot. Take Our Kids to Work Day – for Grade 9 students.  Wednesday, November 5th Students will receive parent permission forms and details from their Grade 9 English class on Monday.  Forms should be returned no later than Friday.  More details to follow.  Report cards will be distributed on November 7th.
