End of semester 1 and final assessment week

This Friday is the last day of classes for semester 1.  Students will only report to school next week if they have a final assessment for their course to complete.  Each teacher has given specific directions to students on which day(s) they need to report to school.  Refer to the assessment schedule on the website or click on the link.

Exams start at 9:15 each morning and end at 11:15am.  Monday is a double up day where students may also write in the afternoon from 1:00 – 3:00pm.

ELPR students and parents/guardians in Grade 10 – 12 were notified by email if they have to write Wednesday afternoon.

There will not be any cafeteria services available Jan 19 – 23. Buses will run at their regular times.  Students may wish to make arrangements, where possible, to be picked up after their assessment is complete, as students are only permitted in the cafeteria area when at school if they are not writing an exam or doing an interview.  We want to keep the hallways quiet for assessment mode so everyone can do their best!

FEES

Parents and guardians of student athletes are reminded to pay fees for sports teams in School Cash Online.  We have some outstanding fees from sports that have finished their season. Please go online to check your account.

Semester 2

Semester 2 schedules are available for viewing in PowerSchool parent portal.  Students who have a blank in their schedule should connect with their school counsellor to fix their schedule asap.  Counsellors will be working on schedules for semester 2 during final assessment week.

Semester 2 classes will begin on Wednesday, January 27th.  Turn Around Days: There is no school for students on Monday, January 26th or Tuesday, January 27th to finalize grades from semester 1 and prepare for semester 2.
