It is hard to believe that this weekend marks the end of October (and the “Fall Back” hour time change)! It was a fun filled day at BMHS today – thank you to all students and staff who dressed up and to our Student Government students and advisors for running a fantastic Spirit Assembly!

Good luck to our Girls Field Hockey Team who are heading to the Provincial Finals tomorrow – Your Highlander Family is cheering you on!

Reminder – No School for Students Monday November 2nd

Picture Retakes will take place on Tuesday November 3rd – if you missed picture day, joined us later on in the fall or wish to re-take your original photo please come prepared!

Grade 9 Take Your Kid to Work Day is taking place Wednesday November 4th. All grade 9 students will either head into the work force with a trusted adult OR participate in the online Modules from home. Grade 9 Meningitis Vaccination Clinic will be taking place on November 24th              . Many forms are still outstanding. If you have a student in grade 9 please complete the form using the following link. The form should be filled out for every grade 9 student – there is an option to indicate if you wish for them to take part or not. We also have hard copies at the main office that can be picked up if needed.

Provincial Laptop Subsidy – February is quickly approaching and with changes coming to how cell phones are used in schools it is essential that students have their own learning device. Quarter 1 / Mid Term Reports will be sent home on Friday Nov 13th. Power School access will be closed by the District for the next week to allow teachers to finalize Q1/Mid Term marks. Power School will re-open at 4:00pm on Nov 13th.
