Grade 10 French / Post Intensive French Reading Assessment

Next Wed, April 23rd all Grade 10 students will be writing their provincial French / Post Intensive French reading assessment during second period. Students should bring a charged laptop or tablet with them.

RED Week (Respect, Equity and Diversity)  Next week is Respect, Equity Diversity week at BMHS!
Tuesday is Gender Diversity/ Trans Tuesday: There will be a spirit of celebration, allyship and pride including facepainting, art and informative posters.
Wednesday: highlanders are reminded of the importance of positive self-talk and self-love with homeroom activities.
Thursday: there will be a cultural assembly showcasing some of the beautiful cultures at BMHS, with dance, music and more! Students are invited to wear their cultural clothing on Thursday!
Friday: there will be service dogs in the library at lunch, and therapy dogs in the foyer, as well as information from Canadian Mental Health Association.

Grad Merchandise – Orders due by April 25th

Grad Merch is now on sale.  Please go to the website  https://shopdoyleci.com/collections/bmhs-grads-2025.  Please make sure all orders are made in the student’s name to make it easier to distribute when the order arrives. The online store will closed on Friday, April 25th at Midnight. No orders can be placed after this date. The orders will then be completed and delivered to the school in Mid May.

Zumba Party – Friday April 25th

Come have an awesome time while raising money for a great cause! The BMHS Theatre Improvement Committee is throwing a Zumba Party on Friday April 25th from 6:30pm-8:00pm in our BMHS gym. This all ages promises to be an exciting night – Led by local certified Zumba instructors and local DJs. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for students with tickets being sold at the door – 100% of the proceeds going to our Theatre Improvement Project!

Reach for the Top is heading to the Nationals! 2nd Annual Gala Trivia Night May 9th 

The BMHS Reach for the Top team has once again qualified for Nationals and will be hosting the second annual Gala Trivia Night fundraiser on May 9 at 7 PM at the school. Make a team of up to 8 players, kids and adults. Entry is $10 per player. There will be treats, prizes for best team costumes, live entertainment, and a trophy for the winning team. Dine and Dazzle – Wednesday May 14th

Tickets for our upcoming “Dinner Theatre” are going fast! On Wednesday May 14th from 7:00pm- 9:00pm guest will be treated to an evening of “Songs, Snacks and Sips”.
