Happy Friday Highlander Families!

Two beautiful Remembrance Day ceremonies were held this morning here at BMHS. Thank you to all who were involved in the planning and production and to our BMHS students for their respectful behavior.

Parent Teacher Interviews – Parent Teacher Interviews will be on Thursday, November 20th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Friday, November 21st from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.  Parent Teacher interviews will be in person and by appointment.  You can book your in-person appointment through our online booking system.  A link will be shared next week.

Fees Owing – Please log in to School Cash online to submit any outstanding fees and forms.  If your child’s account shows forms in the statement, it means they have not yet been completed. We ask that all required forms and fees be submitted by December 1st.  If you have any questions or need assistance accessing school cash online, please feel free to contact the office and we will be happy to help.

Theatre Improvement committee meeting – Our first Theatre Improvement committee meeting of the year will be Wednesday, November 12th at 6:00pm in the BMHS Library. We will be hearing from the district concerning the project, organizing this year’s events and starting to reach out for corporate sponsors. New Members are always welcome!

NB Wellness & Education Survey – will be taking place in homeroom on Wednesday November 12th. Your child’s participation will allow the NBHC to better inform its partners, including your child’s school, about the strengths, challenges, and needs of students in New Brunswick. The results are used to implement programs and services that benefit students.  The school results will be provided to the school administrator in the spring of 2026. Participation is voluntary, and your child’s responses will remain anonymous, meaning no one will know how they answered. If your child does not want to participate, or if you do not want him or her to take part, you can inform their teacher. Students will need to have a charged device to complete the survey.
