 A reminder that the Final Assessment and Demonstration of Learning week schedule can be found on the BMHS website.  We wish all our students the best of luck as they wrap up their first semester courses and thank our extended school family for a positive and successful first semester.  First semester classes finished today. Students will only report to school next week if they have an assessment/interview.

Final Assessment Week:

January 19th -January 23rd semester one for final assessments, demonstration of student learning (products, conversations, observations).   Students are aware when they are expected to attend school for their final assessment.

• Cafeteria services are not available for the week and will resume on Wednesday, Jan 28th, 2026.

 • If there is a snow day during final assessment week, a revised schedule will be communicated that same day via talk mail and TEAMS for students.

 • The final assessment blocks are two hours from 9:15 am-11:15 am or 1pm – 3 pm.

• The busses will run on schedule for the morning and end of day runs. If possible, students can arrange alternative transportation to go home after their exam.

 • Anytime a student is in the building, but not in a final assessment or interview, they may quietly work in the school cafeteria. They cannot be in the main classroom hallways.

• Students writing the ELPA/ELPR are required to bring a charged device and their power cord for the assessment.

Please note that January 26th and 27th are high school turnaround days.  Students will resume second semester classes on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026.

Second Semester Course Changes:

Students who have a BLANK in their schedule for 2^nd semester should reach out to their guidance counsellor to make arrangements to pick a course as soon as possible.

Yearbooks 

Yearbooks are on sale on School Cash until Feb 14th. We will not be ordering extra books so all orders must be placed before Feb 14th. The cost is $70.00

Theatre Renovation Project Open House

Come help us set the stage! We are looking for corporate and alumni sponsors to help support our Theatre Renovation Project. We will be hosting an open house on Wednesday Jan 28^th from 6:00pm – 7:30pm to learn about the need, the plan and how you can help!
