Safety concern:
Please refrain from using the staff parking lot as a pick-up/drop-off zone. There were a couple near-miss potential accidents yesterday. The safety of our community is our priority. The designated parent drop off/pick up loop is the only zone for parents/guardians to use.
There was also a lug nut found in the parent/guardian drop off zone yesterday afternoon, so please check your tires if you are missing one. You can claim it at the main office.
Santa Claus Parade Float
Our students are busy decorating the float for this year’s Santa Claus parade happening Saturday, November 22nd. You are invited to be part of the Santa Claus Parade this Saturday. We will be meeting on Vaughn Harvey Blvd. by 4:30pm at the latest, look for FLOAT #55, we start moving at 5:00pm. A map to the exact location will be in Wednesday’s SNEWS. We have space for 25 students ON the float, and the rest can walk. Wear your green and white – there will also be some tartan material for you to wear over your clothes.
FILL THE BUS CAMPAIGN
- Food collection boxes will be in period 1 classrooms.
- The campaign officially starts Monday, Nov. 24th and commences Wednesday, Dec. 17th on pick-up day.
Fun Events to support the campaign
Staff talent show – Friday, December 12th, assembly day schedule.
Staff vs. students ball hockey game – Monday, December 15th at lunch in the gym.
Students are encouraged to donate a food item or $2 towards Fill The Bus.
School cash online will also be set up to receive donations. Thank you in advance for your support.
